Ku'ulei Fanene is from Salinas and is studying for her BFA in Fashion Design at Academy of Art University. She has loved fashion from a young age and always used fashion as a way to express her own personal style. She learned to sew at the age of 10 and has used her sewing skills to make various clothing pieces throughout the years. Being of Hawaiian descent affects her aesthetic as well! She loves using cultural patterns and styles in her creations!
