THE DESIGN RULES
Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the show reaches capacity. Please only register if you intend to follow through with your commitment to the show. This show is in high demand and we are committed to you by reserving this space and supporting you with our time and efforts too.
-All outfits must be designed using Non-Traditional Clothing Materials. This means you may not use any kind of fabric (including crochet yarn, curtains, upholstery, doggie Halloween costumes, etc… – recycled fabric is STILL fabric) or any kind of leather or fur. This does not pertain to underclothes, as needed. We encourage reuse and recycling of used and discarded products. Should you purchase new items for your design, please note the show will not reimburse you for these items.
– You are allowed a maximum of two designs and two models. We love to see the magic that happens when designers model their own creation. Note that the definition of “model” isn’t set in stone – a very substantial hand-created prop may count as a second “model”, or an outfit that encompasses multiple people at a time may count as one “model” (an example of that would be a worm or a dragon that needs multiple people to carry it down the runway).
-You may choose your own music. In doing so, please plan to prepare the music and your act to be a maximum of two minutes in length. Sorry, no exceptions on this. We want to give each designer an opportunity to use the full time allowed while keeping the show schedule intact.
The spirit of the event is you! You are the weaver of Dreams and Magic so go forth and create!
The Audience theme is “Chasing The Rainbow”, please ask your friends and family that attend to dress in their finest rainbow attire.
